Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and AyePing (“we”) for using AyePing. By creating an account, you accept them.

The service

AyePing gives you a link that scripts and services can send notifications to, using tokens you create. We deliver them to your signed-in devices and keep a history.

Don't rely on AyePing for emergencies or anything where a late or missing notification could cause harm. Push notifications pass through third-party services, including Apple's and Google's, and can be delayed or dropped.

Your account

• You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• You're responsible for your account and your tokens. Anyone with a token can send you pings; pause or delete a token if it leaks.
• You're responsible for the content your scripts send.

Acceptable use

Don't use AyePing to:

• break the law, or send content that's illegal where you are;
• probe, overload or get around the limits of the service, or access other people's accounts;
• impersonate others, including with your username;
• resell the service without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Plans and payment

• The Free plan includes a few pings to try AyePing.
• Hobby and Pro are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly. They renew automatically until you cancel.
• When you upgrade, the new plan starts right away and you get credit for the time left on the old one.
• Cancel any time on the Billing page of the website. Your plan lasts until the end of the period you paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
• Unused subscription pings don't carry over to the next period. If prices change, we'll tell you before your next renewal.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Profile. It cancels your subscription and deletes your data, as the privacy policy describes.

No warranty

AyePing is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, on time or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by late or missing notifications. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above, and tell you in the app or by email about important changes before they apply. If you keep using AyePing after that, you accept the new terms.
